Research Areas
- CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29) is a synthetic GHRH analogue. Studies have examined its binding at anterior pituitary GHRH receptors and its short half-life (about 30 minutes).
- Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide agonist at the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R). Studies in animal models report growth hormone release without significant change in cortisol or prolactin.
- Because the two act on different receptors (GHRH-R and GHS-R), published pharmacology has discussed combined-pathway effects on growth hormone release.
- Rodent studies of Ipamorelin have examined body weight and longitudinal bone growth.

Handling and Storage
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial. Store as stated above, protected from light and moisture, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Any reconstitution must take place in a controlled laboratory setting.
